Pan has never done any hard training in the Dragon Ball series. Pan may have her father's (Gohan) saiyan blood in her body, but she is not a full blooded saiyan like her grandfather (Goku). In Dragon Ball MMO (Online) the DB online game (created by Akira Toriyama), states that female saiyans are able to transform into a super saiyan. The Ultimate Form can be accessed at any time. While not in the Ultimate form, he can still go Super Saiyan. In Dragonball GT, Baby Gohan is Super Saiyan, showing that he can still go Super Saiyan. The Ultimate state replaces the SSJ forms. Gohan has always been one of the most interesting characters in the anime as well as the game. Although SSJ4 Gohan has never appeared in any sort of media, this hasn’t stopped EdwardVSGaming from creating this fantastic mod which introduces SSJ4 Gohan to the game. Xeno Broly SSJ4.

So with the new trailer arriving I've seen a lot of people mentioning that Gohan can't turn into a super saiyan anymore. The proof apparently is when he or the kais says he should transform (after using the z-sword) and he just gets stronger 'in his base form' instead, but is that all? I just dont see that as enough proof for him NOT being able to turn super saiyan again.I always took it as he is stronger without it, meaning there is no point in turning super saiyan anymore, like that this 'Mystic' part of him is like his own way of going Super Saiyan 3.
Gohan turns into a super saiyan in the battle of gods movie when they help goku transform into a god, and yet people try and say he can't or should not be able to do it?If people feel like to enlight me on the matter, please do because i dont see how some of you are thinking.EDIT: Here is one way to think of it. Super Saiyan transformation caps his power at say 10 because that's how strong that transformation is, while without the transformation he can go further than that, for simplicity lets just call it 20. People have to remember that SS is a transformation and that transformations has limits as well. Gohan just learned of a way to get stronger without them.He can transform, he's just weaker doing it.
The power he unlocked from within him is something he can't access while being transformed, probably because a transformation has their limits, that's also why there is a super saiyan 2 and 3 because the super saiyan transformation has limits.Sure he obviously has limits while in his 'mystic state' too, but he can reach much higher power that way. Note that THIS EDIT is just my opinion and a way of making it simple to understand. As best I can tell its as following:Mystic is the strongest out there for a solo fighter.All Super Saiyan transformations drain energy constantly, including a good amount when transferring up a level ( the amount is related to how strong you are. SSJ meant everything in the Hyberbolic Chamber during Cell, but nothing during Buu)When Gohan goes SSJ, all he is doing is changing his hair and eye colour in exchange for a power drain. It dosen't boost him at all as Mystic is still far stronger. Dosen't stop him doing it though (Maybe Videl has a thing for Blondes).
